SMC Srl is a company founded in the year 1993 around a team of technicians with more than two decades of experience in the development of packaging systems.
The problems of handling molasses tobacco has kept automated systems from being effective and cost efficient, until now. The new system design bu SMC is specifically designed for the molasses tobacco market, not an adaptation from other markets. This new system, built around the special dispensing unit, allows for all types of automations being applied to molasses, and ensures precision in dosing and high speed operations. No more dirty hands and incorrect weights, precision and high speed at a constant rate are now available at the touch of a button.
The central component of the packaging line is the dispensing unit for the toba ...cco; this dispensing unit ensures that the tobacco is not altered in any way from its production state. The tobacco casing material is not removed from the tobacco due to squeezing, maintaining the correct amount of liquid per dosing portion. This specially designed unit allows for a consistent dosing weight (/- 1 gram per 50 grams portion) and an elevated rate of production (up to 100 portions of 50 grams per minute, depending on the tobacco consistency).
We sold a line to an Italian company which markets its product with the brand WAZIR; a second line has been sold to a German company which markets its product with the brand SINDBAD.
Furthermore, we have designed and built a tobacco molasses dosing and packaging plant for packages of 250, 500, 1.000 grams. Its specially designed unit allows for a consistent dosing weight (/- 1% for all the portions) and an elevated rate of production (up to 12 portions of 250 grams per minute, up to 8 portions of 500 grams per minute and up to 5 portions of 1.000 grams per minute).
